Isabelle Henry et al.'s new paper was accepted in Plant Cell! This paper reports on efficient mutation detection using a combination of exome capture and our MAPS bioinformatics pipeline on EMS mutagenized populations of rice and wheat. The paper can be found on the Plant Cell website

Our visiting scientist from Kyoto University, Takashi Akagi, just left after two very productive years of research in our lab. We wish him the best back in Japan and hopefully he comes and visits us again soon!

Isabelle Henry et al.'s paper was accepted in Plant Cell! In this paper, they characterize a locus associated with regular meiosis in the allopolyploid Arabidopsis suecica (Sue). For the fan of Shel Silverstein and / or Johnny Cash out there, the locus is called "Boy named Sue"...
