The Comai laboratory has received funding to develop methods for rapid domestication of underdeveloped crop species, both diploid and polyploid. This project involves two main components: one is based on developing breeding platforms and the other on developing genomic tools, including genomic reference sequences for these crops. The two post-doctoral researchers would collaborate with each other and researchers in the Comai lab to drive both components forward.
